
LffL Minitube PPA contains packages of the latest version of Minitube for Ubuntu 10.04, 10.10, 11.04, 11.10 and 12.04 LTS. However, if you could find someone interested in modifying the Linux source and compiling it for Windows, then it would be perfectly legal.

Also I guess the resulting programs are bigger than that of native languages, but I think this is only significant for small programs. I don’t know anything about licensing of programs built this way, yet. I did that once for a simple program which worked fine.

It says that it does not use Google Framework libraries or the YouTube API, does not use the “Google Services” and doesn’t need a YouTube user account. Download the binary package and unpack it (I created my own bin folder to put prebuilt packages in). On android I use “NewPipe” from the F-Droid store.
